The booking, deposit and cancellation policies that apply to every appointment at Romy's SPMU. Please take a moment to read these before booking — they exist to protect both you and the studio.
All appointments at Romy's SPMU require a 25% deposit (booking fee) to secure your slot in the diary.
Life happens, and we will always do our best to be reasonable with date changes — but to protect appointment slots and the planning work that goes into each treatment, the following applies:
If you do not arrive for your appointment without prior notice, this will be treated as a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, and 100% of the treatment cost will be due.
If you arrive significantly late, your treatment may need to be shortened or rescheduled at the artist's discretion. The full treatment cost may still apply.
All clients are required to complete a medical consultation form prior to their appointment. If any contraindications are identified, the artist reserves the right to decline or postpone treatment in the interest of your safety. In such cases, deposits will be retained against admin and consultation time already invested.
Detailed aftercare instructions specific to your treatment will be provided in writing at your appointment. The longevity, healing and final result of any treatment is significantly affected by aftercare. Failure to follow aftercare guidance may impact your results and is not the responsibility of the artist.
For semi-permanent makeup treatments, a perfecting top-up appointment is typically required 6–8 weeks after the initial session. This is an additional, chargeable appointment unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
Every effort is made to deliver beautiful, natural-looking results, but as with any cosmetic procedure, individual healing and outcomes can vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare and biology. Specific results cannot be guaranteed.
Before and after photos of treatments may be taken for internal records, training, and (where consent is given) marketing purposes. You will always be asked separately for permission before any photograph of you is shared publicly.
The remaining balance of any treatment is due on the day of your appointment, payable by card or cash unless otherwise agreed. Prices on the website and booking system are correct at the time of publication and may be updated periodically.
